Interested in becoming a VPSI Vanpool Driver or Alternate Driver? It's easy and we're here to help you every step of the way. Follow the directions below to begin the process:
If you want to coordinate a New Vanpool
- An application packet can be found by clicking here.
- California applicant's should click here to review the Addendum for California.
- Read the Vanpool Driver Criteria included in the packet. If you meet
the criteria, continue with the next step. If you have questions about
the criteria, please give us a call at 1-800-Van-Ride.

- Fill out the Volunteer Driver Application on line. Once completed, print
and sign the Application.
- Print, review and sign the Disclosure of Intent document.
- Review the Volunteer Driver Agreement. Do not complete the agreement at this
time. An original, completed agreement will be presented to you for signature
by VPSI.
- Fax or mail your completed Volunteer Driver Application and signed Disclosure
of Intent documents to your local Customer Service Center. Simply call 1-800-Van-Ride to get the information for the center nearest you.
If you're a New Alternate Driver
- An application packet can be found by clicking here.
- California applicant's should click here to review the Addendum for California.
- Read the Vanpool Driver Criteria included in the packet. If you meet
the criteria, continue with the next step. If you have questions about
the criteria, please give us a call at 1-800-Van-Ride.

- Fill out the Volunteer Driver Application on line. Once completed, print
and sign the Application. Be sure to indicate either the van number or the
primary Driver’s name of the vanpool for which you are applying to drive.
- Print, review and sign the Disclosure of Intent document.
- Print, review and sign the Alternate Volunteer Driver Agreement.
- Fax or mail your completed Volunteer Driver Application, signed Disclosure
of Intent document, and Alternate Volunteer Driver Agreement to your local Customer Service Center. Simply call 1-800-Van-Ride to get the information for the center nearest you.
If you're a New Vanpool Driver and your Employer will be invoiced for your monthly payment

- Read the Vanpool Driver Criteria included in the packet. If you meet
the criteria, continue with the next step. If you have questions about
the criteria, please give us a call at 1-800-Van-Ride.

- Fill out the Volunteer Driver Application on line. Once completed, print

If you're an Employer who's interested in supporting vanpooling by paying the Drivers monthly payment (even if part or all of the cost is going to be recovered by charging vanpool fares to the employees riding in the vanpool)

- Complete the Three Party Provider Application, print and sign it.
- Review the Three Party Volunteer Driver Agreement. Do not complete the agreement
at this time. An original, completed agreement will be presented to you for
signature by VPSI.
- Fax or mail the completed Three Party Provider Application to your local Customer Service Center. Simply call 1-800-Van-Ride to get the information for the center nearest you.
